The Delegations of German Industry & Commerce in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou represent the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) in China and are part of the global network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK). Their primary focus is on promoting bilateral trade and investment while advocating for the overall economic interests of Germany on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Delegations maintain close contact with government representatives and facilitate over 80 meetings each year with the aim to create a favorable environment for German companies to grow and prosper. They work in close cooperation with the German Chamber of Commerce in China and the German Industry and Commerce Greater China Co. Ltd. to provide support for German enterprises and their local partners.
